We can also use Maui Beta to write the serial numbers using the Barcode option. Make sure Barcode should be 63 to 64 characters long.
You need Physical MediaTek smartphone, tablet or feature phone to follow the guide.
Maui Meta Guide To Write or Repair IMEI:
Download and install the Maui meta-tool on your computer. It should be installed in program files depending upon your PC’s architecture.
Once it is installed unzip it and launch it on your computer.
Once the Maui tool launched wait until its dashboard appears with a red circle.
Under the Connection Type, select the Connection.
Note: Make sure if you’re having a smartphone then choose smartphone checkbox and if you’re having Feature phone then choose feature phone checkbox
Now at the top right-corner here is a Reconnect button. Click on it.
Note: The color of the circle start changes between red and green. Switch off your phone.
After turning off your phone, connect your phone to PC via data cable.
Your phone will start booting up(got stuck into the boot animation). You need not worry your phone is in MAUI META mode. Once it in the Maui Meta Tool circle changes color and turns into yellow.
Note: To check your phone is detected or not, In the Get Version Box click Get Target Version for confirmation. Your phone details appear. Now checking details you can minimize it.
Now at the left corner, you’ll see the Dropdown Menu, Click on it and select IMEI download.
Now IMEIDownloadDialogBox windows will popup. Click on Change NVRAM Database File Button and locate the BP file.
Note: You can find the BP file on the stock firmware of your device or download the AP BP base collection.
Now enter 14 digit IMEI code in the IMEI Box. If your device is having multiple SIM support then do the same steps.
Note: 15 digits of IMEI entered into the checksum box.
Now click on the Download to Flash button to flash or install the IMEI.
Once it is installed you’ll see a confirmation message.
Congratulations! Now disconnect your phone from PC and restart it. Once it starts dial *#06# to verify the IMEI of your device.
